It's 7:04 AM. The coffee is finishing. You pick up your phone.
The brief is at the top of the inbox. 347 words. Three decision cards. Two pattern flags. One sentence at the bottom, no notes today. You read the first card. The contract amendment for the customer in Atlanta. The recommendation is approval. The rationale is that the three structural conditions are met. The cost of waiting is the customer's quarterly forecast. You tap yes. Next card. Budget bump for the calculator work. Conditions met. You tap yes. Last card. A hiring decision that involves a structural change to a team. The recommendation is "no recommendation, the tradeoff is yours." You tap into the card. You read the rationale. You pour the coffee. You decide. You tap.
It's 7:12 AM. The brief is closed.
